In 2015, telstra.com.au was one of the top 40 most viewed websites in Australia, with approx. 3M unique visits per week. More than half of all customer transactions now take place online.

Responsibilities

Moved between project and BAU work as required. Represented the development team at project discovery and kick-off phases, advising on recommended approaches.

Worked closely with the UX and back-end teams to design and implement best-practice solutions.

Projects

Coordinated an accessible implementation of Telstra Support.

The final solution incorporated semantic markup, server-side rendering, and progressive enhancement to deliver a consistently reliable experience.

Redesigned an overly complicated administrator dashboard and implemented the design end-to-end. Users and developers reported increased efficiency with the new version.

Joined a large agile development team delivering an extremely complex system covering all aspects of greyhound racing.

Led a splinter team on several occasions, including for delivery of the finance system and the Greyhound Adoption Program portal.
