Changi Airport
The seventh busiest international airport, where a flight takes off or lands once every 100 seconds, Changi Airport is an attraction in itself.
Terminal 3, the "green" terminal, features natural skylighting and gardens with enough foliage to cover 50 soccer fields. Focusing on roasting and brewing specialty coffee, Papa Palheta is serious about its beans. This small shop space has a tasting bar where baristas craft espresso drinks for coffee heads. There are a limited number of seats in the courtyard and no menus or prices at this boutique coffee bolthole: drinkers pay what they think their espresso and milk is worth.
